Once again I have an opportunity to bid on the installation of a school Intercom system. THe thing that puzzles me is the fact that I am comparing Intercom Systems such as Aiphone vs. Our Traditional PBX systems.
I found that in the costs a PBX (of course) comes in with more usuage and a little lower in cost.
Why is the specifications for a stand-alone Intecom system STILL be called for????

Because they are a government agency. They probably pulled out the bid specs from the last time that they had this done, 20-25 years ago, and updated it slightly. ------------------ Intertel Telephone Repair Toshiba Telephone Repair
