Hi Guys: I am trying to program a DX80 to have 4 ext's (101,102,103,105) ring from 8am to 4pm,and 6 ext's (105,106,107,108,109,110) ring from 4pm to 8am. When I went into day answering position 02-xxx-13-01-01 I was able to put the ext's in that I wanted. However in night answering position, 02-ccc-13-02 I cannot put the ext's in because if I enter an ext sor instance 106 if I press nex to enter the next ext instead of getting to member 2 it kicks me out to the next program. In day I was getting the next member which was null and I could enter the ext. Any ideas. Thanks

Put the 6 extensions in a UCD and program appropriately--(I use 415 or 416 most of the time).

To back up the suggestion of using the UCD group (the correct way to do it), you can only program a single destination for Eve ringing. Therefore, you must point it at a UCD group if you want to ring multiple extensions.

That would explain why I couldn't put the other extensions in. one other thing, the manual says that the co ringing mode must be set to Time mode for auto co line ringing. Where would I change the mode. I don't see a reference to changing from day mode (default) to Time mode.

You only need the time mode if you want the system to change automatically. Your better off to just have them manually frog the system from day to night with a button programmed. To answer your question, when you dial the day night code or press a pre-programmed buton for same, the system changes from day to time with one activation then to alt. mode then eve mode then back to day mode. 4 settings under the same feature code.
