I was trying to program a vm key on a comdial dsu unit this unit does not have a com port to hook up hyperterminal so I was doing everything via ext 10. I tried dialing I think it's *001 from the ext I want the vm key I press the location 6 + the vm port number then I think 2 then speaker and it does not program the key, the key is currently a dss I am trying to overwrite.

The procedure is I**1, programmable button, 6, vm ext then speaker off. You may have to include a "2" after the ext# when you do the transfer.

I was thinking that when it was suggested. I think the DSS has to be eliminated before the feature key can be added.
