Can a SLT port on a 816 be setup for automatic line access. ( grabs line 4 when going off hook)?
It can use dial 9 for the trunk group but there has to be pauses inserted after the 9 for the out dial to work.

I have the manual but never sold the 816.According to the manual ,mmc 83hot line/prime line should be what you are after.Mmc 84 has a hot line delay on a per station basis (immediate prime line or delayed) and mmc 85is the hot line delay timer in seconds.Hope that helps.
