I have a site with a DCS 400.Sometimes when they page internally,the page will lock up.The only way to fix is a reboot.Tech. support cant help me,they have never seen that before.I have about 200 phones,4 different zones and all the phones are digital keysets.They said all the sites that big are analog sets.The only theory I have is that a DCS treats a internal page the same as a intercom call.If you dont hang up,it will stay there for ever.NO PAGE TIME OUT.

But there is a page timeout timer under mmc 501.You should be able to see who is paging from a display telephone.What does a display show when this happens?

They are 98% non display phones.On the display phones it does not show the other zones paging if your not a member of that zone.Page time out is for external page only.Internal page acts like a intercom call,if it stays offhook.I cant reproduce the problem so that is my only theory.This is a car dealership with 4 different bldgs.

What happens when it locks up?
The solution you are going to here is corrupt
data.
What happens to the disply phones after it has locked up and you page again.

Only the internal page locks up.When you go to use it again,you get reorder and the display says "page in use"Tech.support says reinit.,reprogram but dont upload.Do it by hand.Another words,they dont know.
