We have the opportunity to do some maintenance on a DXP. We do not have much experience with this system. There are no manuals on site for this system. We are kind of going into this blind. I know that Comdial/Vertical has MD this system and will not support it. Is the programming similar to the DSU of the Impact systems? Do you need software to program the system or can you us HyperTerminal to connect to the system? We have found some manuals online that will be helpful. Any information will be helpful.

You can connect with hyperterm. Once you log in, if you see "system, lines, stations, etc, enter a topic. If you can do this, the system is pre-common code and all programming can be done with hyperterm. If you can only "see" or print items then you'll need VMMI. Your log on screen should display software version.
