Is there a way to set up the receptionist phone to override a DND setting on another extension without setting up the Boss/Secretary function?

Thanks,
Matt

I am not familiar with class of service. Where are these settings located?

Thanks,
Matt

I found these settings in the OfficeServ Manager, but how do I set this up with both extensions already being members of different groups? Also, I programmed a DNDO button on the receptionist phone, but how do I set it to override a certain extension?

Thanks,
Matt

dndo doesnt override a specific extension it overrides an extension that is being called. so reception dials the party, gets the dnd and then hits dndo or the softkey in her display.

you may also need to set "override" for her class of service to be yes and "secure" on the other phones class of service to be no.

mmc 701 is where you define the class of service. so set up your overriding station as COS 1 and give it override enabled and the featute dndo enabled.
Setup another COS (2) for the phones to be overridden, and disable "secure"

now in mmc 301 you need to place the extensions in the appropriate COS.

Does the DND forwarding have to be shut off?

Thanks for all of your help so far,
Matt
