I have added the iDCS keyset daughterboard SLI to a keyset. The vendor told me that all I had to do was plug it into the extension module and it would be ready to go. I have added the daughterboard but it is not providing the anaolog line. Is there programming that needs to be done?

Depends on what system you are working with.
Post back what system you are using and we can be of more help.
Ie a 50Si or iDCS100 the daughterboard will only work on one of the 8 digital ports on the main cabinet backplane. On a iDCS500 it would only work on an 8 DLI card not on a 16 DLI card.

I think it's funny that your vendor simply handed you a duaghter board and let you do the install. Not that it's that tough though this is what can happen when the vendor seperates themself from the customer and lets them do the technical work without testing anything onsite. Oh well. PVJ is absolutely right BTW.

Your daughterboard extension would be 100 higher than the phone.

If you had extension 205, your analog ext. would be 305, 207 would be307, etc. Can you call the extension?

While that daughterboard MUST work off one of the first eight ports, you can swap that phone with the daugterboard in it to any ext. 201 to 208 and the analog port will work. If it is not critical to location, that will make it all well.

If it must work at that particular location, let the dealer who wasn't so swift in just sending it to you come back and swap wires for free. This is egg on face time for the dealer.
