Anyone know why there is not a button on Call for Voicemail?

Some users on analog phones on a 7200 simply want to click a voicemail button like on their old IBM system when they see the caller id popup to send the caller to voicemail without answering.

Any workarounds?

There is a 'Msg' button on Call but I'm sure this is just used for getting your vm messages. I know from a keyphone you can press the # key to send a caller directly to vm without answering but for an analogue this would not be possible. All I could suggest would be to try the # feature from OfficeServ Call.

This is a fairly new system, why is the installing vendor not involved?

Sometimes I wonder if the installer know whats up. After the initial sale and setup, I have to pay for support hours at $100 hr.

So, I am sorry but I really felt like these should be basic functionality and frown on paying for something I really think I should work from the start and that I should be able to handle.

Slynch welcome to the board. What your asking Officeserve call to do is not something that it can do with an analog port. The pound feature will only work if AME is enabled in COS as it is required for that feature. That may be why it doesn't work, though I'm not sure if it will work with an analog port even if it is enabled. You would need your Samsung dealer to enable that if it isn't already as it is technician level programming. Of course it is up to your dealer as to whether or not it is a billable change.

Benb:

Thanks, its really too bad they don't put a button on Call for VM, so you can simply click it.

I looked at MMC300 and it is already set to allow forward to VM.

Yeah, there is no button. You can do a redirect to your vm group. Looks like thats the only way.

The feature that benb is talking about is AME, I believe it's listed as UMSAME or VMAME in the COS list. You need to have that enabled, it has nothing to do with allowing the forwrd to VM setting.
