Hello, I am looking for some guidance to configure a 3rd party softphone with our Samsung OS7200 system. The softphone is integrated into our CRM application called GoldMine. GoldMine now provides a sip compatible softphone built into the application. Our original plan was to use TAPI but our dealer can not get TSP working on Windows 2003 terminal server. Apparently the TSP application is not being maintained. So, we are trying to find another way to get screen pops and dialing for our GoldMine users.
I would be happy to get any advice on what is needed to make this work, how you got other 3rd party softphones to work, alternate strategies for CTI, questions I am not asking, etc.
What is required on the OS7200 to enable a softphone? Hardware, software, license, user configuration, network configuration, etc?
The GoldMine application requires settings for proxy server address and port, registrar address and port, sip port and user extension. How do I figure out what those settings will be?
Thanks, Harry

I'm not sure if Samsung is supporting third-party softphones yet. They've talked about it, but I haven't heard of anyone having any luck with one. Their proprietary softphone is very nice, too bad you can use it.
