This is a new install of a J1632, with a 4 port Debut (digital) VM. There are 4 POTS lines in hunt, when a call comes in on line 1, the auto-attendant answers, if I hang up, the line is held open for approx. 2 minutes (does not hang up). When I call in via the other lines, all is normal. Any ideas on what this might be?

if you swap lines one and two does the problem follow the line or stay on one ?

We switched lines... and it follows the line. Qwest has checked the lines - disconnected from the phone system and it worked normally, reconnected and the same problem.

check with Qwest for disconnect supervision some carriers are now charging for it as a added service

As Skip said have Quest verify disconnect supervision. Also have your tech set the seconds of silence and nonsilence for disconnect in the Debut programming. smile
