It is running 4.41c now.

I don’t remember ever upgrading the voicemail file on the MP10. I probably have the same one since 4.07 Is this important?

Was running on 4.30 A-K for a fair while when I first tried to get it going.

I do have the option to send to a private IP as we have a VPN tunnel to the mail server which our PC's all use. I couldn’t get it to work on private either so that’s why I started sending to the public IP.

After looking at the activity log some more I am sending every time on port 25 its what the mail server does with the message due to its presentation of the email address. One would think the email address should be consistent form the EMG and the subject is the only thing to change.

The ERROR - non_blocking_connect() message was when I tried to send on port 465 so I should rule this out.

So in this case I think the issues were:

Possible problems pre 4.30l / 4.4 sw as I don’t recall getting a sent response in the activity log on 4.30 K and before.

Once I had upgraded form 4.30K to 4.4 it started to work but mail server started blocking due to presentation of sender address

Still dont have fully working EMG but should be able to come up with a solution with our ISP

Make sure you set the reply to and error email address' in the system wide paramaters, as it actually uses the reply to email as the from email address rather then what you put in the mailbox from field.
whilst on that screen make sure you set the timezone correctly, had a customer complain that a message took a couple of days to get through and it turned out to be a incorrect timezone setting on that screen
