I haven't seen this one. Customer has 2 cabinet OS500, PRI, svmi16e etc. svmi crashed today, when trying to reboot I get this:

FTPD File Transfer
Press ESC, X to exit
Sockets FTP Server v7.10
(misc info)

C close LISTEN
D dos shell
S status
X exit

Replaced card with same result. Moved card from 2nd to 1st cabinet with same result.

Thanks for your help.

Problem resolved. It seemed the customer changed the system date to the year 2070 causing the SVMI to boot to FTP mode. Thanks for your help MCRACKIN.

Did you have to do anything other than fix the time and date? I have a customer with the same issue (set to 2070 too). We fixed the time but SVMI still comes up in FTP mode. It's non-responsive also, can't CTRL-C X out of it.
Thanks

Got it. You have to manually change the date in the SVMI by typing DATE at the command line to get the voice mail back online.

I've had a SVMi20e do the same thing, but i had to clear the slot and put the card back in to fix it.

Good to see samsung don't think we will still be using SVMI cards in 60 years time :>
