Hi There,
I have an SVmi-e8 card with fax port
I have set the system to direct from our MENU to FAXCALL a virtual mailbox 3401 and set this up to receive faxes.
However whenever fax calls go to any extension the disconnect before the receiving is finished and therefore never work.
I had a dealer out here looking into it, they suggested i set a no answer greeting on the mailbox but this has corrected the issue.
In the activity log, the fax is being detected, and the fax port is being reserved, however the fax is never received.
Anyone run into this problem? I am assuming there is some trick to it, running OS 4.1 on the card.

I just tried sending a fax to my vmail from an external fax and got this in activity
=> 8) [MBX 01 205] Recording message =>CP 13:56.16.52 8) Reserving fax channel =>CP 13:56.16.52 8) Fax channel reserved: 1 =>CP 13:56.16.52 8) Receiving fax document =>CP 13:56.29.70 8) Releasing fax channel: 1 =>CP 13:56.29.70 8) Unrecoverable error =>CP 13:56.33.55 8) First party disconnect detected =>CP 13:56.33.55 8) No recording made
I Will note the Unrecoverable error seems to only come up on mailboxes other then the virtual mailbox i set up for faxes and if I try and dial the SVMi-8 directly from our fax on an SLI circuit
