I have a customer who is complaining about Call Forwarded calls to his cell phone being extremely quiet. Any thoughts or ideas?

(Q-Tips maybe?)

If they are using anolog trunks that will definitely happen. Digital circuit is the way to go if they are planning on using that feature for a lot of calls.

If your customer has the call-forward disconnect feature on his lines, then just setup a flash button and they can use that with the speed dial and don't have to worry about tying up the multiple phone lines.

I guess it depends on how you want it to work. I assumed Jean was using automatic external call forward.

You could also set up a phantom extension to be forwarded to an external number. Then have a warm body transfer to the phantom, BUT you will still have the volume issue because it will require two analog trunks.

Looks like Analog trunks from a Telco that doesn't support a linking feature. They do have SIP trunks installed for outgoing. Maybe I can route the forwarding through one of those and see if it's better

You can try to increase the gain between atrk and atrk.

I can't remember the MMC/IT Tool option of the top of my head though.
