Hey all, I'm new to this forum, so I hope I'm doing this right. I'm IT for a mid-sized company.
We have an iDCS 500. Caller ID was working fine. I shutdown the system to do some ext swaps. When I turned the system back on, everything worked fine except for Caller ID. The next week I had to do a few more changes and shutdown the system a few more times, well then Caller ID was working again. Last night, I installed a new UPS -- No Caller ID this morning. What is causing this? I have done 2 restarts, but nothing yet. I don't want to keep turning the system on/off until it works. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance -Paul.

Bobby, I'm not very familiar with all this stuff, but I'm trying. I hope this is the info your looking for. We have 7 standard incoming lines. There are 2 TRK-C1 cards in the cabinet. (We used to have more than 7 lines)
Thanks, Paul

Does the display say "no cid recieved" and does the Line light light up red during the first ring then change to green on the second ring?

Yes, the display says, "no CID received" and the line lights up red for two rings then turns green.

I would now try a CID phone or butt-set on one of the lines before it gets to the system to see if you see or hear the CID data transmission.

Thanks for the replies.
Phonman123, Sometimes I get CID after a restart, then others times I do not. I think it is R2, but not sure. How do I find out?
Bmreen, I will give that a try.
Old Blond, I will check the MMC's and try to reseat the card.
