I thought the 8312/8324 Impact SCS phones only worked on a FX system with an LDS card. I just saw one on a client's DXP Plus. It appeared to be working fine...
What are the requirements for these phones? Is it a software revision or specific hardware?

They will work down to the DSU with 20A and the cabinet must be a certain revision. DSUII all rev. DXP and DXPPlus must be CCB starting at 10, I believe.

Wow... Talk about misinformed. I thought it required a specific digital card in the cabinet. Looks like I can use up my old stock of 8324s!
Thanks!

the specific card thing is on LDS cards that are needed for the large display sets.

Ok... Those were the phones that looked like the iPrimo. I knew there was something to the idea of hardware requirements... 8412 phones. Gotcha!

I believe the LDS was also required for the full duplex version, but I may be mistaken. The full duplex version was the 83xxF-xx as opposed to the 83xxS-xx.
