Those I have plenty of those, the ones Jeff is looking for is the old carbons that went in the bakelite protectors.
Looks like you have a mixture of the gas and carbon screw in protectors.

Looks like you have a mixture of the gas and carbon screw in protectors. Thanks. Are we possibly talking 98A, like this? Or even older:

I'm talking about the first protector you posted a picture of.

Jeff, I work in alot of old banks here in Detroit. There are usually a bunch of those laying around in the dust of the old basements where the demarcs are. Will the ones from 50-100 pair protectors work? Hopefully they are still functionable. I'll try to scavenge some when I can.

I'd go with Kevin-MI, if he can find any. I'll keep my eyes peeled, but the last time I found these protectors was over a year ago. But, as you've found, it's a mixed bag as to whether or not the 'carbons' are removed.

Yeah, if you can find a couple that would be cool. It's just for my collection of old stuff

Jeff, I have the fuses (those red tubes on the sides) but I'll keep my eyes open. They usually pull the carbons because they cause problems.
