I just started working at a company that has a Norvergence Matrix CCS, but no one knows where the programming manual is. All they can get me is a features guide. I wonder if any of you out there have one?

Or if you can just tell me how to fix our two big problems I would be more then happy.

We have moved the office around and no one knows how to change were their voice mailbox is unless they lose all their old mail. Is there anyway to get the mailbox to move with them?

Our second problem is the standard greeting for night time needs to be changed but no one knows how to...

Thanks for the help

The only way to move voicemails and such with the user, other than going thru the cumbersome process of forwarding each individual voicemail message from one box to another, is to physically move the extension to the new location. This doesn't mean moving the set, although you will want to also do that so the button labels match. It means the cross-connect will need to be movewd at the block. This will also allow everyone to maintain their extension numbers, voicemails, programming, greetings, etc.

As for programming manual, that is only available to certified installers. However, the administrator's manual, which describes how to do administrative functions including recording the company greeting, changing the system clock, changing extension names, etc., is obtainable. I'm not sure if it's available from the Manuals link above. There are two manuals that you would probably want: the Administrator's Manual and the User's Guide.

What I don't know is what that version of Norvergence is comparable to, the IVX S-Class or the IVX E-Class. I'll have to wait for someone else to chime in and tell me. I never really knew what the cross-references were from the Norvergence systems to the (same) IVX systems.

More to come...(hopefully)

So then the question is, what is the Matrix CCS? S-Class or E-Class?

Did you look in the Manuals link, above, to see if ESI E-Class or S-Class administrator's manual was there? I'm still trying to figure out which you actually have. The basic instructions are the same for both systems, but there are some slight variances. I can't post the instructions on here as they would involve giving out the Administrator's password. Passwords can't (shouldn't) be posted on the open forum. I'd really prefer that you have the Admin manual in front of you, then I could answer any questions you may have at that point.
