Having problems have the vm. When you dial the number to get to the vm it says that the number is invaild. The first 4 lights on the vm card are on and don't go off. Then one and three on the bottom row stay on too.

Are the 4 top lights solid or flashing?

Flashing lights mean different things depending on the speed of the flash (either playing or recording audio). A solid light means the port is active. An active port with an invalid extension number usually means a config problem. The lower LED's indicate a serial connection is active.

Double check port configuration in Class 1 for the voicemail ports and verify that they are configured as VM\AA ports. If you are able to connect to the VM card with the programmer, go to the drop-down menu under 'on-line' and idle/reset the card- or reset the whole system if it won't bother the customer. After the card resets, the 4 LED's on top will flash as the card boots up, then will go out. If they continue to flash, the card has a problem and may need replacement.

Solid means the ports are locked up, either because of a configuration problem or a card problem. It's also possible that one mailbox has comandeered all the ports.

A simple reset may clear things up.

If you can connect with the programmer, click on the globe icon and see what the ports are acually doing.

The fact that dialing the Vmail brings back 'invalid' suggests configuration problems, if this is a new install. If it's an existing install, more likely an issue with the card itself.
