Have an ADIX with 4-port voicemail. Some users are complaining (and I have verified) that when people leave messages they are not being saved.

I would leave a messgae in a users box, but when I log in to check the message it say there are no new messages.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

First and foremost, what type and version of voice mail? Iwatsu in-skin or 3rd party stand-alone.

Are the mailboxes of these users full?

Are these mailboxes allowed to save messages?

More info, please.

(BTW, I cleaned up duplicate posts...)

It's the IWATSU voicemail 4 port card.

Mboxes not full. It takes the message like normal, but it's not saved.

If you have access to the VMI programmer, I would connect to the voice mail system and watch a message being recorded to see where it's actually going.

You might try deleting, then re-creating a mailbox to see if that clears the trouble. Barring that, you're probably going to need a vendor visit. Your vendor can then have Iwatsu tech support dial in the system and poke around a bit. They have programming resources that field guys don't have access to.
