Thanks in advance for your help. I am a Vodavi / Vertical dealer and we had a new customer call us to add a couple of phones to their system. I am somewhat familliar with the IDS 228, EZ96, and EZ66. Their system is a Executone Contel 3672. My question is as far as programming through a laptop is it similar to the other systems I am familliar with ? Passwords the same ? All I should have to program is ringing and maybe a few button assignments, oh and forwarding to vm. Thanks again for your help.

It programs very much like the Vodavi 4096 but the flash codes are off by ten. For example, what would be flash 30 on the 4096 is flash 20 on the 3672. I will send you a PM regarding the password.

Yes, Ed is the best or at least one of the best!
The system you referred to is the Executone Encore CX 3672.
If you have need of information on this system I do have hard manuals and user guides that I can refer to.
Good Luck!

Thanks to you too Bob. I downloaded the Vodavi 4096 manual yesterday, and if it is as Ed says, I will just subtract 10. If not, I think I can flip around and find what I need. I thought it would be like Executone programming , not like Vodavi ( using flash 40 for example ). It looks kind of like an old 228 to me , but I'm sure if one way doesn't work, the other way should. The phones eerily look like an infant stage of the Vodavi brand. I know there was some sort of relationship with Executone and Vodavi at one time, so I suppose that explains that. But be sure I'll ask if I don't have the answers. Thanks.
