IntelliTouch - Intelligent Communications Solutions (as long as it works) Enter a world of innovation... enter the world of IntelliTouch. IntelliTouch creates a wide variety of award winning communications convergence technology ... That they don't support. https://www.intellitouch.com/ I had a OHP 7000 on hold unit fail, internal memory card seems to lose it's recording. I was surprised to find that Intellitouch offers no avenue for repair of products after the warranty has expired. Tech support calls go directly to voicemail and calls are not returned unless you make several attempts. In fact the only calls they answer seem to be sales calls, then if you ask questions about what to do with a product failure they send you into the TS voicemail. I'm pulling them from my web site and looking for a new On Hold System provider. This kind of terrible customer service really irks me. Mark

I know that their players are less money than Premier. There has to be a reason for it.

Mark, look around on their web-site. That's a known problem and there is a download to correct the problem. Oh yeah, IT WORKS!

"I wonder why their crack tech support team didn't offer that info." ------------------------------------------------- Rhetorical question? It's been my experience that the turnover at pretty much any manufacturer these days is so bad any more, the support folks from 2 years ago are GONE! Along with the knowledge!

Firmware download didn't work, and the unit has the same firmware that is on the support site. None of the buttons on the unit , menu, mode, etc., respond and the cd spins continously without loading. Do you know of any repair places for these things? Or is intellitouch selling a "disposable" product? Pretty crappy, they haven't returned any emails or phone calls.

Well, they used to repair them and as I recall, they actually had a 3 year guarantee. But, you had to prove the purchase date with an invoice from the warehouse. You know, Jenne, Graybar, whatever.

This unit is out of warranty by 11 months. When I got through to a salesman (they answer sales calls) He said they have no avenue for repair, only warranty replacement. I can get an MP3 player for 49.00 with more storage, a replay feature and an electric power source. Now that I own the disc with the copywrited script, I can copy it to the MP3 and they can go stick it.

Mark, I ran into a similar problem a while ago at one of my customers. The CD would spin but the message wouldn't load. The "work around" that I came up with was to load the message onto my laptop then upload to the player. I assumed that the reader on the CD player was shot. It has been playing for years now without a problem.
