I have an Inter-Tel Axxess system (2.53 I believe) with both Digital and Dual Station sets.
The problem I have is that occassionally, whenever I make a change on the system (through AxxessDB software) I will have one station (picked at random) that will start receving "Mailbox is Full" messages, despite the mailbox for that extension being completely empty.
I am at my wits end on this, as it has happened several times before, and usually clears up next time I make another change on the system (usually months later).
I have tried:
- Clearing the mailbox
- Changing password
- Deleting and recreating the mailbox
- Deleteing and recreating both mailbox and extension(s).
This is driving me nuts.....if I only try to fix the problem at hand, I cannot resolve it. I just have a wait it out, and that isn't really satisfactory this time.
When viewing the mailbox report in DB editor, it even shows that the mailbox has 0 messages and is 0% full. Yet, the phone says full, when you dial the mailbox to leave a message it says it is full....GRRR. Can anyone help....PLEASE???

When was the last time the voicemail had a scandisk and a defrag? When you look at the mailbox report, are you checking all mailboxes or just the one in question?

You may have a corrupt database. Another option is to upgrade the software to v4.x or higher. This is quite inexpensive to do. If interested my email is [email protected].

Have you checked other "non-associated" mailboxes programmed to light this extension?
