We have a new Inter-tel Axxess system (v 8.200)
And Inter-tel SIPS IP Phones - model 8662.
They work fine on the LAN, but take them offsite ... we are coming into our site through MS ISA Server, we've opened all the ports that we think we need to, although we really aren't that sure ! The phone connects, we can dial an extension BUT get no voice either way ... any ideas ?
Anyone know definitely what ports the SIPS phones need ?
Thanks in advance

Because they are in SIP mode the IPRC must not be behind a firewall. It must be in a DMZ area or public Ip address. The phones can use dhcp and be behind a firewall with the ports you have opened. try that and let me know.

We've tried it in the DMZ and of course it works ... because we no longer have to go through Microsoft ISA server. So we are saying there is No Way of routing through ISA ?
The IPRC card is on the LAN, so we'll need another IPRC if we want to used end-points out in the field ?

Yes, the way the IPRC 8.1 firmware works, it does not allow packets to pass through a firewall, software or hardware based. So, if you have phones on site and off connected to the same IPRC, it must sit outside the firewall.
