Hi guys,
I was reviewing the forums for a quick question in regards to the best way to retrieve voicemail messages remotely on SBX.
In one of the forums I read that any remote functions require that users have a password on their station to perform function is CCR. (Change greetings, get to VM's remotely, record prompts etc)

I have a two part question:
The first is during the day the phones are answered live, so how would I inform the customer the best way to retrieve their messages?
I assume you would have the person answering the call transfer the subscriber to their voicemail box where they would have a hidden option to retrieve their voicemail.

Second part:
At night the phones are answered by the auto-attendant, so I assume I would just set up the option in CCR so that they could retrieve the messages remotely with an appropriate password. Where is that password set?

Thanks in advance for your guidance.

Answer to second part...password is set at each phone by the user. This is using the tran/pgm 31 code. They don't dial into the voice mail itself.

You can set a CCR key stroke such as 7 for "Mailbox". The caller hits 7 when hearing the main greeting...then mailbox number then the star key then password.

First part...caller gets answered by somebody. The person in the office would hit callback then the dss key or dial the mailbox number of the caller. Caller hits the star key when they hear their own greeting.
