Trying to set up my first SBX system. Customer has call waiting. The manual says every 24 button phone has a flash button. NOT. If I mash co 3 that is not being used, a flash button appears as a soft key at far left. If I'm on a call on co 1, I get the beep, but no flash button.

Anybody got any suggestions.

David

The flexible code is 551. It's in the Install manual page 6-13

Ted, thanks for your reply but your info was for a single line set, not for a digital set. I found the flash key

Hi David, I sold my bench unit and was just reading from the manual. Must have read it wrong. Sorry. That said, where did you find the flash key?
thanks, ted

Ted, while on a call & you hear a beep, your display will show an arrow for the right button. Press the round button at bottom of phone & the flash button will appear on the LCD. Now you can hit the flash key to answer call waiting.

Thanks guys. I haven't had an occasion to use it, but it's nice to know how when the time comes.
