She may be out of luck on this, but I have to admit, this is the first complaint of this type in quite some time. I have not experienced this myself wih our Sprint PCS/ Dell Pc scenario. Maybe it is her Mac's.

We have had this issue with ALL of the various carriers. I believe DnRComm has the answer though, as the reports are only for phones that have been purchased with the last twelve months.

I am employed by GMAC Mortgage. We have office in all 50 states.

My experience with this problem has been related to GSM phones and Blackberry handhelds only. If the device is within four feet of the desk phone you will have interference. We have had this problem with Nortel Meridian, Avaya Partner & Definity, Comdial, and Panasonic.

We have had this issue with ALL of the various carriers. We tried shielded CAT5 to the phone and computers with no luck. It appears the device (deskphone, computer, ...) is required to not block the signal. Our only recourse here has been to tell the users 'cell phone must be arms length from ..'

I have no problem having my phone next to my Norstar M7310 or right next to the KSU itself. It causes a slight twitch in the monitor of my computer, but not the tower, wireless keyboard, or wireless mouse.

I've noticed the problem with Toshiba also, using Cingular. A friend of mine is a tech for Cingular, I'll ask him the next time I see him and post his answer here.

Don't no much about celular. But I do know that in each region, carriers use differnt bands of the radio spectrom to provide there service. Maybe the enterference is better or worse depending on what band they are using for the celular service. This is just a thought from a man who don't no much about celular.

PoolFool,
have you ever tried this yourself?
Did it work?
Do you have more details about where I can buy one of these?
Thanks,
Ezra

I am going to drop off a couple chokes to see if that helps. In our scenario(in-house) we have Sprint PCS and a Samsung Idcs 100 and do not get interference
