Okay another round of wasting electrons.

In this series I will be posting pictures of items I pulled from my tool box.

You can waste more electrons by identifying:
  • The proper or common name
  • What the item was used for
  • The part number
  • The manufacture

I don't know what the correct name is, but aren't those "boots/caps" put on the end of coax cable while it is on a reel :confused:

No, but I have seen those on data circuits.

(I like to use them on the blades on my impact tools to protect the exposed tip 110 or 66...haven't found one to fit Krone...hum, I don't remember if I have a Bix blade or not: :shrug: )

I think the answers are close enough. I 'believe' they came from the bulk heads of a fiber can years ago.HOWEVER, since they are yellow in color I am now having my doubts regarding my memory. (all the ones I have run into lately are black on fibre and BNC connectors)
