While pressing and holding the 7 and 8 keys at the same time, power up the phone. When all the LED's on the keys go out, release the 7 and 8 keys and you should get a plain English menu. Navigate via the bottom right feature keys (by default they are transfer and outgoing) and enter your static IP info. Use the star key for a 'dot'. Navigate to the right and disable DHCP, then navigate right to save and reboot.

About DHCP, anyone know why it would just stop working? My phones tend to reboot about once a day, maybe twice. Then, randomly, it won't be able to grab an IP from DHCP server, which is a Windows 2003 Standard server. We used to use our Firebox router for DHCP, but the IP phones would NEVER grab an IP address from it, which is why we moved DHCP to the server. Anyone? Also, when the IP phone is set to a static IP, occaisonally it will stop working, until I assign a different static IP address. I am confused.

Please take a look at dates...the original post was 3 years ago. It would be better to make a new post.
