Hi, I'm new to the forum. We have been installing and servicing Vodavi and Vertical systems for years. We have found several issues that we have not been able to resolve.
1.) We have a customer that when they receive an incoming call and lets say they are standing and talking with a employee and try to pick the call up at their station it will not let them.
2.) Same customer is receiving "phantom" calls quite often.
3.) Is there a way to turn the constant blinking light off when auto attendant is in use? Annoys the heck out of us and our customers.
On all the above issues (except #3 we have reinitialized the system and reprogrammed from scratch. Seems there is always a flakey little issue lately with the SBX-IP. Anyone having siomular issues?

Welcome!
Couple of quick starters - 1. Is the phone a ringing phone? If not, it can block the phone from answering. 2. Hangups with no disconnect supervision? 3. The On Demand ring mode will blink. I haven't checked to see if the lamp rate can be modified. If AA is used for most of the business hours, why not assign AA to the day mode? If it is just occasional use, the blinking is your reminder that you are in that temporary mode.

1 Alternative) If it isn't a ringing phone, but still want to be able to pick up the calls, build a pickup group and make sure that phone and at least the reception phones are in it. 24 button phones by default have a Pickup softkey under the LCD display for this. 8 Button phones you would have to program a key, though.
3) Just as my two cents, I too hate the flashing LEDs for both the time modes and for setting up forwarding. Over half the time the users can't stand the LED flashing, press the key to turn it off, then call us back complaining their forwarding isn't working/AA isn't following the schedule (DUH!). Large design flaw IMHO.
