I recently picked up a client that is using an STSe system. I recently cofigured 2 new users (added their name was about it.) They were able to configure their voicemail box, but I am unable to get their phone to roll to the voicemail box at all, if their on the phone, or like all of the other phones in the office (total of 11 in the office)
I'm not sure which version of the voicemail they have, so I guess what I'm asking is:
1. How can I tell the voicemail type? 2. How can I tell if there is a voicemail group, and if that's the method being utilized (or is there another method)?
I hve the installation manual and the quick start guide, but don't have the technical manual. Also - To my knowledge, they do not have the modem option connected.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome aboard!
If the voice mail is an internal card within the KSU, and you are able to physically describe it to us, we can help you with identification. In general, if you can see a hard drive on the card, then it's a 3535-00; if ther's no hard drive present, then it's a 3534-00. If they have an external voice mail system, then it's a shooting match to determine what they are using.
If other stations have voice mail service, then a voice mail group must already be established. This is typically group 440.
Since all we are authorized to share here is user's guide-level help, I can only tell you how to utilize the station-level voice mail forwarding feature. From the new phones, dial 640 + 7440 for no-answer forwarding or 640 + 9440 for busy + no answer forwarding.
The manuals button at the top of this page will put you in touch with a source to get your hands on the manual for this system. Being such a popular system, you shouldn't have any trouble finding it through the source of your choice.
