OK I give up. I can't see anywhere I can record the name for the voice mail directory. When I access the personal options for a phone, it doesn't give me an option to record the name. Again I am missing something simple, but I have been through two different manuals plus the quickstart guide and I cant see it. Thanks for any response.

I don't know the MBX, but would it happen to be 563 on the numbering plan?

I found a way by opening up admin to all extensions and then chose option 6. I did try dialing 563 it gave me a beep and I recorded my name but it didn't come up on the directory so I am not sure where that one went but I think this will work and then after we record the names I will restrict admin. Thanks for your reply.

No problem. FYI, 563 is the pgm code to record a user name on the IPECS. I thought it may be the same on the MBX.

lol. I tried 524 to no avail. Just for kicks I started trying different combos. The first one was 542 and bingo.
Thanks guys.
