How can you transfer the CDE Database from a 200light to a 200EL Mitel PBX?

Mitel used to do this, but no longer since it is discontinued and a few generations back. The ICP will convert a EL database.

I recommend a re-key. It doesn't take that long to retype a Mitel database. In fact, form 26* is probably the longest part.
Print the db from the Digital Light, and then just re-type it. You can also dump the db through a terminal emulation program, with "capture file" turned on, and save it as a text file on your laptop. Then use that as a guide while you re-key.

I agree with the rekey :), I think putting buttons on phones will be longer than 26. Either way, you can correct things that aren't right, or can be done better.
