Hello Yall, One of our clients has a Panasonic KX-TG6700 Base unit and cordless phones. They used to have Call Waiting, then they switched to Rollover. However, the client is telling us they still hear the Call Waiting Tone when a second call comes in. The client said the call waiting tone keeps playing during the conversation which makes it hard to focus on the conversation. We sent a phone technician to look into the issue but he could not solve it because he said he was not familiar with that phone setup. I tried getting help from Panasonic, but they refused to help because the unit was no longer under MFG warranty. The manual talks about an "Interrupt Tone", but we still could not get it to stop.
I appreciate any tips in advance
Thank you

That is off hook ring indicator. If they would Read The Manual it tells what it is and also shows how to disable it. https://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXTG6700.PDFThen again why have a multi line phone if you are NOT GOING TO ANSWER IT.
