Hi,

Trying to Complete Programming on a Toshiba Door Box. I have Voice out to the Door, Did all the required Programs, But what I am getting is Just 1 Phone to Ring and Flash. I have 7 Phones. Program *79 is the only Program I see that you set a DN Button on a Phone. If I set for ex, 000, Then that Phone Works. But I cannot Program more then 1 Phone in *79. Something is Missing. Spoke to an Alleged Tech online, He had no Clue. But again, everything works, only 1 Phone is Ringing and Flashing. I need to have More Phone set up.

Ring to a PhDN instead of a PDN. Place the PhDN appearance on the phones you want to ring on a doorphone call and use *71 to assign ringing.

Hey Meister,
So this Retired Toshiba Guy never worked with DN or PHDN Buttons but Im learning. I read what you said, went into Program *71 as a Port Reference I inputted 000*007 as my Range for all the Phones. Then I picked a Button on all these 10 Button Sets (2010-sd) and Hit that Button, to be the "Receiver" of the door Box. Older Systems Just rang through the Int Button. But here Im lost as to the rest.
Thanks

Phonemeister is correct, you will need to input a PhDN (default is 500 - 527) in *79. Use programs *04, *33, and *71 thru *73 to manage the PhDNs. Then program the PhDN to appear an all the phones you want to ring in prog 39.

That's not how to do it. Go back and undo what you just did in *71. Let me point you in the right direction. Let's say you want to use PhDN 50 for the doorphone ringing. In prog *04, port 500 corresponds to PhDN 50. Assign the PhDN owner in prog *33. Go back to *71 and enter 500 as the port number and then light up LEDs 1-7 for station ports 000-007. Then go to prog 39 and assign the PhDN ##500 to a button. Make sure programs 79 and *79 are done too.

Meister, I worked on this about 20 Times. Like I said, Never got trained in PHDN's Etc. If I could find a Downloadable procedure to do this, somewhere from A-Z which also Includes The Explanation of This New Toshiba Programming thats what Im looking for. Remember, Im a Tip n Ring Guy--Going back to 1a2 Equipment. Also Strata 3, Se, Vie, %84-C Panels, etc.

Thanks for your Help

There is no step-by-step guide but I just pretty much gave you the program numbers to make this work. The programming and I&M manuals are what you'll need to reference if you still need more guidance.

Meister,
You know I remember way back when when I Broke into this Business. I was being shown how with 1a2 Key Systems, tipnRing went into the KSU and came out T,R, A, A1, Lg, L. For the life of me, I couldnt understand what the Heck the guys were saying. About 2 Weeks Later, I was Home thinking about it, and then The Light went off,Boom-- and I said,I understand now! What I did with this Toshiba Door Box programming was go online and Print out a Full Description of all the Programs you Referenced with these PHDN Guys. Layed them on the Floor in my House (Im Putting this System in my Home) Went very slowly from your Notes to These Descriptions, with a programming Phone right next to me. Guess what happened Next Meister----Boom-- That light went off again. I Inputed the Information and 5 Minutes Later I had a Fully Working DDCB.

Thanks again for your Help, You Da Man!!
