I have DSX 80 system with 22 button phones. We have 24 incoming lines. We are oK with the first 22 lines as they are assigned to buttons. Now, if somebody calls on 23rd or 24th line and we put them ON HOLD, we do not know how to pick those lines up.
I am sure there is a way.
We figured there is a way to reach line 23 by pressing "Intercom"+123, however, when the line is on hold, and we try to reach that line, it gives a busy signal.

You have way to many line appearances on your phones. Normally when a user has a PRI on their system, its best to make use of loop keys and park orbits programmed onto the feature keys instead of line keys to handle calls. It may seem awkward at first, but you'll be better off in the long run.

your best bet is to get someone to come in and set the system up properly for you and give you a little training

Go off-hook.
Dial *4
Dial the number of the line on hold. For example 01 is line 1.

Good Luck!!

the 22 button phones only have 12 assignable keys the other 10 are speedial with no lights so you can only have line appearance for 12 lines , not 22.

unless you have 34 button phones which would give you appearance for 24 lines

That's just craziness to use line appearances. You should definitely be using Loop and Park keys.
