CTX Error: (0x349bff) Facility=0,Severity=0,Command=260,Error Code=52,Data=255\nA DN used for ISDN, etc. is designated.

I have been looking all through emanager, pilot dn's, DID's,call groups, hunt, phantoms. I want to just delete the ext and recreate it as a physical ipt ext. but there is a conflict and the ext is associated with something else. I didnt set this up, so I dont know why the phone stopped working or how it was working in the first place.

I found 87163 in a hunt group, I deleted it, still getting the error though.
Is there some way to force the removal of 7163 from the system?

Thank you for any help with this frustrating issue.

You can't delete the digital extension? The emergency call destination is usually the one thing that prevents an extension from being deleted.

I would probably just do a Change DN and create the new IPT.

When I try to enter that ext in emanager, under station assignment I get the ISDN error. So I cant delete it since I cant pull it up.

I still havent figured this out if anyone has any suggestions. Let me know if I'm not being clear. I want to configure an ext but network emanager is preventing that, I get "The entered value conflicts with an existing ISDN assignment etc.". When I try to delete it, I get "The entered number is not the ext number"

Are you using Strata Net? It's possible that the extension exists/existed on another node. Check the Strata Net Network DN table.

Thanks Nicky, that was it. 7163 was an ext on a old separate node. I ran into this before a while back but couldn't remember how it was deleted. Got this page bookmarked now.
