In a new SV8300 installation , I can't reset the CPU neither by PcPro nor by Cmd E02>2000....!!! I can reset only by the reset button on the CPU card... Any help? PcPro installed on my LapTop is working FINE on other sv8300 systems

system time was set properly before loading standard system data, that is moving sense sw to A and pressing reset sw on the cpu card.

Yes but check the time before doing the E02 as you have to match the time and date exactly!

Sorry can't answer that one but I'll assume the date is right as well! Running out of ideas now!
