Just inherited a customer that has an IPO500 V2 which has 2 combo cards and a 16 port expansion unit. They tell me they have been having some issues with some of the ports on the expansion unit not working so are wanted me to replace that with to DS8 cards in the chassis. Besides the obvious reprogramming of the stations as they are moved to the new cards, is there anything else I should be concerned or be aware of in making this kind of change?

I should mention, that the 16 port expansion unit was left over from their original IPO 406, which is no longer in use.

Just be sure to reboot after you move the DN's around.
