Is there a way to prevent certain stations from using the call forward feature in COS programming? I see you can allow or deny this feature in program 10-1 (I Think), but that would be for the entire system. I don't want certain phones to use the 600, 601,602,603, 604 codes at all. It is a c/d processor with 4.? software if that makes a difference. Thanks

Will disabling 601-604 at each set work for you.

Or read program 35 button 16 and see if that will work for you.

I saw that in pgm. 35, button 16, but I want to prevent 601-604, not just "no answer".

I need it to continue to ring the station. It should never get voice mail or be forwarded to another location.

For some reason a couple of phones keep getting forwarded to other stations and no one is claiming to have done it. It may be some sort of glitch, but I doubt it. The admin on site asked me to prevent any type of forwarding on certain phones.

The only work around I know is to make the user's extension number appear on a PhDN. Move the PDN to another button on the phone and put a PhDN where the PDN used to be. Do not a assign the owner to the PhDN but do make it ring in prog *71. Then go to prog 04 and blank out the extension number for that port and go to prog *04 to re-assign that same extension number to the PhDN. Use #621 to put the extension number on the display.

Thanks Phonemeister. I will give that a try. If they end up wanting more than a couple of ext.'s set this way it would be a headache, but for now that is all they are requesting. Thanks!

I should add that internal calls to the station would be tone only and not voice.
