We moved a 7.0 system to a new office where the manager did not want the EVMC (Voice mail) activated. Now the new manager wants his workers to have voice mail. When I went to the site and changed the ENABLE VOICE MAIL from NO to YES, each time I logged out of the system, the system would change it back to NO and the voice mail stayed inactive. What am I doing wrong?

Well, is the EVMC connected to the fone system processor w/ 2 different connectors? Is the EVMC inserted into the backplane w/ the 'Card On-Line' lit?

It has the two connectors hooked up, but the light on the card only flashes. It does not stay lit. And I have no idea how I even made it do that since when I started, it wasn't even doing that.

Reset the card and see if the On-Line light eventually goes out. If not you are probably having an issue w/ the card or the connectors aren't plugged into the right plugs.
