Reading a manual, I kind of figured out how to program the flexible buttons on a port extension. When I go to my programming phone I see that all the flexible buttons are configured to what I set them. However, when I go to my user's phone it doesn't show the change. Do I need to do a system initialization to set the changes on the actual extension? My manual says to be careful that it erases all the previous configurations.

initialization will take the system to default, so don't do that. Make sure you press hold then speaker after entering the programing on a phone.

Is there anything I am missing here - after all of this I should press Hold then Spkr?

I am just showing the commands from the manual- I didn't include any info of my system. Spkr39Hold is just to access the flexible button feature.

Are you using ports 000 and up and not extension numbers.
should work with your programming above.

Use icm #401 /or #402 to find port ext number.
