Hi guys I need some help. I need the command in Linux that will allow me to take screenshots and put them into a file. I tried using the terminal function but I had no luck. I have never taken a command line Linux course before and the instructor wants me to do some tasks that I am totally clueless about. When I told him about my problem he told me to look it up online. I have tried for a week and did not get any where. Ido not understand what I am reading.

Are you wanting a screenshot of the text on the screen in your command prompt session?

If so... just enable OpenSSH and SSH into your computer from another machine, running Windows (use Putty SSH client) or on Mac OS X just type ssh [email protected] and run your commands remotely.

Happy to provide further help with this, just need more info.

Scott
