Thank you. I am extremely happy with this KSU and I got an excellent deal on it. When I opened the box the first time and saw the ringing generator, I said "HOLY S*&T!" I wasn't sure, but I thought that was the bracket I've read about on here that nearly doesn't exist. After a couple calls to Arthur, I have worked the bugs out of it and have it all working pretty nicely. I'm still waiting on the double female cable I ordered so I only have the one 66B block with the amphenol on the side as the only place to plug a phone in.

To Arthur: That one phone with the LED line lamps that had a weird multi light show going on, the led was reversed in its socket (polarity is out frienemy).

Back to the subject of line cards... I wasn't crazy about the 400H cards. They worked... ok... but sometimes instead of going on hold (when you press the hold button) they would just hang up. The ITT cards work pretty well, with the exception of one that seems to be cooked. The modified 400D cards work by far the best. That modification cost me a dollar for four cards and took about 5 minutes to do them all.

Re: Arthur, I received the in use relay from sandman today and hooked it up in less than 5 minutes. It works exactly as it should. If I answer from a partner phone the ringing is silenced instantly. Has no effect on the other 3 lines CA, and just like you said, the lamp flashes a few times then goes out. What would your opinion be of using the other set of contacts to connect lamp battery to the associated line lamp so when a call is taken on a partner phone the lamp stays lit? Sneak paths? Diode required? Inquiring minds need to know!

just realized hold wink wouldn't work.... Any thoughts?

I'm happy that the Sandman relay is working the way we hoped.

Lamps use AC, so diodes are out. And even if you were to change the lamp supply to DC, you would get sneak paths, unless you wired in a bunch more relays, whose contacts were wired into the actual circuitry of each 400 card. Too messy.
