I have an old Samsung DCS system that uses a SIM module to allow external programming.
I used to connect through a modem, but would like to connect directly from PC to the SIM unit.
Thusfar I am unable tot figure out how to do this.

Can someone help me with the pinout of the cable between the SIM (female DB25) and the usb2com cable (male DB9)?

Also I tried to activate MMC 800 to enable 8xx mmc's, but it keeps asking me for techn passcode. I was certain it was ****, but it refuses this (and many other codes). So I am unable to verify the settings for bautrate and such..

any help is greatly appreciated.

The manual gives you the pin outs.
You will need figure out the mmc800 password.
The pcmmc software won't run natively on anything newer then Windows xp.
I have got it working on newer versions via dosbox

Thanks for the Replies!
I finally got access again via PC-Modem-AnalogLine-AnalogLine-Modem-SIM
And I found the Technician Code.. smile

But my original problem is unresolved. How to take out the Modem-AnalogLine-AnalogLine-Modem part....?
I tried a DB25(female)-DB(male) directly between PC-SIM, but failed to connect. I also tried to swap pins 2,3 on DB25 side, but it did not seem to fix the issue...

Regarding the documentation, I could not find a pin out diagram anywhere...

Please Note: I use a new laptop (with Dosbox) that has no DB9 port, so I use a USB2DB9 cable. This cable works when directly connected to a Modem...
