Is Program 15-14-01 Obsolete in the SL1100 .I see a lot of documentation on how to program the bin numbers (751) 15-14-XX but I don't see anywhere how to dial the numbers .I did see in program 15-02-60 that you could change the mode on the soft key from advanced 2 to standard but that also changed a lot of other soft key programming

I see in program 13-06 where you ca program 20 personal speed dial bins that will show up in the directory

I also notice that in user pro one of the program's is 15-14-01

Anyone have any thoughts on this

Now you have me curious. I noticed that program the other day when programming a SL in my shop. Didn't think too much of it at the time.......now????
I'll have to do some playing with it tomorrow. Thought it was odd having one touch programming but no one touch keys.

You're right, its a pretty useless program. Not even going to try to figure out why they did that other than pure laziness on the developers part. looks like they just reused the old Aspire software.
Better phones? HooRah!!

The Aspire had one touch keys. Aspire phones could be used on the SV8100 which is very similar software to the SL1100. It is probably a holdover.

For example 11-15-11 was a service code you could put in to reset the Ethernet port on the Aspire. The SV9100 PCPro still has it but it doesn't do anything. If you try programming it through the phone it say inactive code on the screen.

I know the UX5000 has software "Enganeering Oversights"* left over from the Aspire software, which inherited it from the i-series. Probably came from the Onyx and originated in the TIE series. puke

Kind of sounds like the government...just keep passing more laws rather then enforcing the ones already on the books!

I dunno about that. The UX supports Aspire phones thus the one touch keys. I think the biggest problem is when the old NEC shops demanded they change the software to fit their old programming (which was like 15 years behind what the UX did). Now it is interesting to see the passwords to get into the terminal though! smile Can you say Aspire?

With the SV8100, you put it in special operation mode you can indeed run Aspire phones. And then the one touch keys work just fine. So that program would apply. Not sure about the SL1100 and SV9100 though (although 15-14 is still there in the 9100)

I would love to see a complete revamp of the ACD setup they use.
And a way of importing a local dial list for a trunk group. That way, a true ARS across sites can be set up without a ton of extra redundant programming.

You tell a trunk group this prefix is local to it and the trunk group how to dial local calls. You then allow a user access to that trunk group. When that user dials a long distance number that is actually local at another networked site, it will then
strip off any numbers (such as 1)
