I'm having a heck of a time trying to connect via USB and ethernet to a DSX 40. This used to work before using DSX admin 3.07 but I recently upgraded to the latest version and it no longer works. USb driver is installed but always says timed out before connecting. Ethernet says can't connect I've tried hitting the reset button on the system and powering off and on. The webpage for the dsx40 shows fine, but I can't connect using the DSX admin.

How can I connect to this darn thing so I can make changes??

Are you sure you got 32 bit version.
If you computer worked on THIS ksu before then it is your software setup.
Do you have a backup?
If so default and try again.
Try another DSX.

Go in via telephone program and verify IP settings if possible.

I was able to find DSX Admin 3.12. I installed it on another machine and was able to connect via USB, but still not network. Why would the old version work and not that new one? I did notice it takes quite a long time to connect over USB. Is there any way to change the timeout before failing when connecting over USB with the new version?

Did you check what the system IP settings are using a phone?

I found the issue after being able to connect via USB with DSX admin 3.12. If gateway is filled out (even if it's accurate) it doesn't allow ethernet connection. Once I changed it back to 0.0.0.0 it worked via ethernet.. Is this a bug in DSX System Version 3.34?

If I wanted to update the software, does it make any changes that I need to be aware of instead of bug fixes and additional features?
