Hi all. Can someone help with programming this?
I have 4 trunks. Incoming Ring Group with three extensions: 100,101, and 103. Trunks set up as DIL in 22-02. 22-01-04 set to 0, as default. 22-7-01 is set to 100.

As calls come in they ring 4 times giving someone a chance to answer, then the call goes to voice mail for 100, allowing the caller to dial an extension or leave a message. This works fine. I would like to have a night mode that skips the ringing and send the call straight to voice mail on 100. I haven't found a way to do this.

Also with these settings it only rings extension 100, not the group. If I set it up to ring group 1 (that's the ring group), it just rings no answer.

Perhaps once I do get it set up to ring the group, the night mode would just be setting 100 to CFA.

You need to DIL the MODE 2 to the VM pilot or a VE that is All CF to VM and the mailbox is a routing MBX. Not sure which vm you are using though..

There is a very good Cheat Sheet on NTAC for setting up Basic AA on the 8100

Why a ring group for 3 phones? Set the 3 phones to ring in 22-04.
DIL the trunks in mode 2 to the voice mails pilot number.
In coming call options set your DIL no answer time, by default its set to 0 which means the call will continue to ring.

22-04 is set for the three extensions. Those three extensions answer calls to the main number. VM is inmail.
Looks like I need to set DIL no answer to something, like 16.

If I set up a routing VM box to answer in mode 2, how should messages be sent to 100 without a separate VM box? Callers could dial 0, but it would still ring before going to VM.

Thanks for the suggestions.

When you DIL the line to mode 2 and you put the system in night mode AA will answer the call immediately.

In dial action table set 0 action as call recording 1, destination 100

Call recording 1 sends the call directly to the voice mail box without ringing the phone.

22-08 set to 102. 22-07 needed to be blank for day mode, 3xx (VM pilot) for night. The key thing was Dial Action Table, 47-13: Timeout set to Call Recording 1, Destination 100. We want the callers to be able to leave a voice mail after hearing the outgoing message.

It now works as it should. Calls ring the group, then after 16 seconds, go to VM, then the caller can leave a message on 100.
In night, it's the same thing, only calls go direct to VM.

Thanks everyone.
