Previously working Call Pilot 100 v 3.1 connected to a MICS. No voicemail features work. Get 'inactive feature' error. All of the lights on the CP were blinking before I rebooted. This stopped the blinking lights, but didn't fix anything else.

The power supply is the good 2 prong, 8 volt one. The only other power supply I had at hand was a 3 prong, 9 volt. This one worked, as the blinking stopped and the system seems to function ok. But I have a light on the collision led. There is no lan connection for this system, so I don't know what it's colliding with.

Any thoughts, or just go with a new 2 prong power supply?

Thanks!
Jim

Sounds like you are mistaking "Collision" for "Operation" as there is no collision LED.
You should replace with a new no matter what.
Keep the 9 volt for testing or to keep client going temporarily until you get a replacement.

Lights on Call Pilot

4......5
3......6
2......7
1

1 2 3 & 4 are port status - lights if connected to Norstar.
3&4 are only on a CP-150.
Must have at least #1 lit or it won't work.
If 2-4 are not lit - you are NOT running on full ports.

Even if 1&2 are lit but not 6 then it won't work.
6 means full connectivity.
5&7 are your network connection and activity.

CP-100 with no network cable, 1,2 & 6 are lit.

Yes, it was the Operation, not collision LED.

I replaced with a new 2 prong 8V supply and all is good. Thanks for the help and info.
